We can worry about them, allow them to confine us to patterns of safe behaviors, limiting our exposure to unexpected risks and rewards, storms and rainbows. Or we can account for them, and then give it no further attention. By making accommodation for the uncertainties in life, taking sensible measures to allow us to function in them, and putting them out of our minds until the rain begins, we open ourselves to a wider world of experience.
